Wilkommen Fashion savvies and general passers-by! #holyshitnotanotherblog

Alrighty, so everyone get yourselves a scotch/espresso martini/coconut water/otherwise appropriately marvelous bev, sit down and make yourselves at home. Basically, to everyone that knows me, this will immedaitely register as my second attempt at a fashion blog. To everyone who doesn't, well then if you haven't guessed this is my second blog: The first being an amateurish Year-Eleven attempt at getting on that blogging bangdwagon that i realised was a burgeoning trend. In essence, this is my slicker, more chic second go, and what I intend to write about centers slightly less around the general fashion news but more my opinions on it and how it affects my daily life, as well as what i'm up to in my life (a little column a, a little column b...).

I'm currently the night before my 20th birthday and also a few days from starting back at my RMIT Fashion Course (2nd year). As well as studying I also work a retail job in the city to pay for the ootd's.

What has basically spurred on this creative space of mine is the desire to find a voice for myself and build a vocabulary as well as to form some contacts in my industry. I'm someone who absolutely adores writing and would love to find a spare year or two to try and knock out the great australian novel (Fifty Shades of Grey meets Wolf Creek anyone?), but I never can find the time (shake your head all you like, im serious though!) so I thought it would be a nice outlet to practice that old "Two Birds One Stone" theory.

And finally, to shed some light on my choice of blog name, I spend all mornings at uni and work drinking double espressos as physical sustenance, to wake me up from often sleep-deprived nights trying to keep up with work. And I also find so much of my energy comes from my desire to dream, daydream, nightdream, no matter what sort of dream it is, it ususally revolves around the future, european cities and the Haute Couture. Ultimately I'd love to become the world's first Australian-born Haute Couturier, and so that's the aspiration that's gotten me through quite a few personal struggles and continues to be my emotional drive. So essentially, i thought Caffeine and Couture immortalised my current sense of drive to achieve my dreams, in a sense anyway haha.

So finally, just to let you all know I'm not even remotely boring so there's no reason for you not to tune in :P
