First day to Uni: feeling actually rather excited for the oncoming stressfest

So today's back to uni in a vicious turn of events! The holidays were without a doubt absolutely NOT long enough. That being said, I'm actually a teensy bit excited to go back. This semester in RMIT fashion involves entirely new learning styles and we're moving from last years focus on tops and dresses to a tailored jacket, quite possibly the one most daunting thing besides making yourself a trench coat from scratch (the horror stories I've heard)... I've also heard that social life goes out the window and there's days where you start at ui at 8am and don't leave until 11pm. Shiver me f%#*ing timbers! Anyway i'll have to wait and see if they're all true, I'm definitely expecting an influx of new assigments and tasks immediately :S

So picking out something to wear to uni is oftentimes more involved than just an everyday outfit, half because it's a fashion course (and people are naturally more atune to appearances) and half because I always try to take pride in my appearance (and so usually I'm my most outspoken critic), but another reason I like to dress carefully is because I'm well and truly representing myself, as well as the brand i hope to have one day (from a 20 year old novice in this industry, i sortof agree with your thinking i sound like a douche) it just has become something really important for me though. After all, you never know who you're going to meet along the way and dressing well always emulates confidence, or so they say :P

Today's also the first day I'm wearing my new Patek Philippe, so very excited, albeit a little nervous to be wearing it around the city. I always find that opera calms me down a little bit when i have the jitters, and so i've got farinelli ready to go, here's hoping it's gonna be a good day :)

xx
