Two Adjacent Days, two different moods and two different outfits...

I'm not sure if it's a common theme amongst people, but I oftentimes find that my outlook on the day and my general mood affect everything from my conversation tactics to my wardrobe choices. The evidence seems totally clear to me in this picture.

The left picture was evidently a cold and rainy day, and I was dying to wear my new Vivienne Westwood tasseled slippers, which i also noticed matched the silk scarf I was wearing, an amazing treasure I found in Thailand for about $3. I was in a good mood on that day honestly, ahead on my homework, and also just loving the rain. So although not the best footwear choice for a rainy day I think the colour and fun shoes spoke my mood for me.

The right picture is quite a different story, I'd had no sleep from working to get ahead on a CAD project all night and was feeling absolutely wrecked, imagine double espressos galore. When leaving the house to be honest I find it quite difficult to do slouch, and so the idea of dressing for comfort is usually replace by dressing for the sake of confidence in dressing well. However I feel like the final look showed through a little. The shorts are actually trousers that I rolled up, and the socks felt like a slightly dorky addition but matched my undershirt, so overall despite being eccentric I like to think it came together. I guess you could call that my version of dressing for comfort :P SIDENOTE THOUGH, I did end up getting the Aquila shoes pictured and mentioned in an earlier post, the suede is a bit of a bitch to wear around town but as readers will soon learn, anything with tassels makes me go weak at the knees :P
